About this Coffee
La Planada tells the story of seven siblings dedicated to specialty coffee in the mountains of Naranjo. In 2010, Antonio Barrantes planted the SL28 variety, and the first harvest in 2015 won first place at the Cup of Excellence.
An intense and expressive cup, with ripe red fruit notes like strawberry and raspberry, along with plum and blackberry. Subtle florals, milk chocolate, and a gentle spice note round out the profile, with an elegant, well‑integrated citric‑malic acidity.
